Frequently asked questions

How do I add a parking spot?

Tap and hold on the map where the spot is, then add a name, a photo, and a short description. Adding a spot — and voting on one — needs a free account (a quick email sign-up). Browsing and searching don't.

How do I report a spot or block a contributor?

Open any spot and tap Report this spot to flag it, or Block this contributor to stop seeing every spot from that rider. Blocked riders' spots disappear from your map straight away, and the content is flagged to us for review.

Is TwoTread free?

Yes. TwoTread is free to use, with no subscriptions and no ads. You can browse and search without an account.

Which areas does it cover?

We're starting in Cape Town and growing wherever riders are. Spots are added and rated by the community, so coverage improves as more riders join.

How is my data handled?

Your location is used only while the app is open, to centre the map and show nearby spots — it is never stored or shared. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open your account menu and choose to delete your account. This permanently removes your data. If you have trouble, email support@twotread.com.

Keeping TwoTread safe

TwoTread is a community app. To keep it safe, every spot can be reported and any contributor can be blocked from within the app. We operate a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behaviour, and we review flagged content promptly.
